Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces that make complex investing concepts accessible.
- Build visually rich and custom user experiences for the iOS platform.
- Experiment with new technologies and keep current with changes in the iOS ecosystem.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with security treated as a first-class concern.
- Own the full app lifecycle from ideation through delivery to the App Store.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to improve the technical and product experience.
Requirements
- A university degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Profound professional experience as an iOS Engineer.
- Strong analytical thinking in both technical and product contexts.
- Proficiency with UIKit and Auto Layout, with interest in other technology stacks.
- Passion for delivering great user experiences and working with custom UI.
- Ability to stay current with the latest changes in the iOS ecosystem.
- Excellent, clear, concise communication with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent English communication skills; German is optional.
- Fintech experience is an asset but is not required.
- Interest in investing or familiarity with Scalable Capital’s products is advantageous.
