Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software, tools, and applications across the baseball tracking platform.
- Modernize and improve existing software systems.
- Develop cross-platform C++ applications and visualization components.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and agile ceremonies.
- Support testing, debugging, and deployment of new features.
- Continuously improve software quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Contribute to technical design decisions and take ownership of features within a collaborative team.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing software with modern C++, ideally C++17 or later.
- Understanding of multithreading, object-oriented programming, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing software for Windows, Linux, or macOS.
- Experience with Git and modern development environments such as Visual Studio.
- Collaborative problem-solving approach and willingness to learn.
- Desirable experience includes Qt, OpenGL or other graphics and visualization libraries, Python, AWS or other cloud technologies, SQL or NoSQL databases, 3D geometry, rendering or visualization pipelines, and computer vision or image processing.
