Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software, tools and applications across the Baseball tracking platform.
- Modernise and improve existing software systems.
- Develop cross-platform C++ applications and visualisation components.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming and agile ceremonies.
- Support testing, debugging and deployment of new features.
- Continuously improve the quality, performance and maintainability of software.
- Demonstrate curiosity, initiative and a passion for learning new technologies.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing software using modern C++ (ideally C++17 or later).
- Good understanding of multithreading, object-oriented programming and performance optimisation.
- Experience developing software across Windows, Linux or macOS.
- Experience using Git and modern development environments such as Visual Studio.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to learn.
- Experience with Qt, OpenGL, Python, AWS, SQL/NoSQL databases, 3D geometry, or computer vision is beneficial.
