Responsibilities
- Build, test, ship, and maintain highly available, performant, and durable product features for the CTEM platform.
- Own features and components through the software development lifecycle, collaborating with engineers, Product Managers, and Designers.
- Use customer and technical problem analysis to develop simple, maintainable solutions.
- Apply AI-enabled development tools and contribute to AI-assisted product capabilities where they provide customer value.
- Use product data, application telemetry, user feedback, and quality measures to validate decisions and guide iteration.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, observability, documentation, reliability, maintainability, developer experience, and cross-squad initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers across levels, share knowledge, and support onboarding and growth of less-experienced engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, including production software delivery in a modern SaaS or web application environment.
- Proficiency in a dynamically typed, object-oriented language such as Ruby, Python, JavaScript, or a similar language, plus practical SQL and relational database experience.
- Willingness to learn and work with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
- Experience building modern web applications with ReactJS or comparable frontend frameworks and working with AWS or similar cloud technologies.
- Experience contributing through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred experience with Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and Amazon Web Services.
- Preferred experience building products or workflows for security professionals, analysts, technical operations teams, developers, communities, or other technical users.
- Exposure to Python and AI application technologies or patterns such as LangChain, Langfuse, retrieval/RAG, tool use, workflow orchestration, human-in-the-loop systems, or LLM-powered features.
- Experience using AI-enabled development tools or evaluating AI-assisted product experiences through feedback, quality measures, monitoring, or experimentation.
