Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable, fault-tolerant, highly available, and low-latency telecom systems.
- Develop software for carrier connectivity, call routing, and telecom infrastructure automation.
- Improve the operational excellence of the Session Border Controller platform and carrier management systems.
- Own software end-to-end from design through development and collaborate with technical leaders across AWS.
- Participate in operations, design reviews, document reviews, mentoring, and broader team and organizational initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
