Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Red Hat OpenShift Container and AI Platform at client sites.
- Architect, design, deploy, and support enterprise-scale OpenShift and container solutions.
- Deliver and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ansible Automation Platform deployments.
- Lead complex consulting engagements from design and architecture through implementation.
- Integrate OpenShift solutions with customer networking, storage, security, identity management, and existing infrastructure.
- Mentor customer teams on containerization, application deployment, and OpenShift administration.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for RHEL, Ansible Automation Platform, and OpenShift upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Create content that enables Red Hat teams to design, service, and support automation solutions at scale.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while communicating progress and issues to stakeholders.
- Perform Red Hat AI solutions and support customer digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a consultant or architect designing complex customer solutions, especially cloud-native and container technologies.
- Deep hands-on expertise installing, configuring, and operating Red Hat Linux, Ansible, and OpenShift Container Platform or Kubernetes.
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes concepts including pods, services, deployments, and operators.
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Experience with DevOps and GitOps practices and tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Tekton.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or Ansible.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and customer-engagement skills.
- Experience resolving critical technical issues and leading complex consulting engagements.
- Knowledge of prompts, RAG, model training, model distillation or quantization, MCP, and AI agent development is advantageous.
- Red Hat Certified Specialist credentials in Linux, Ansible Automation Platform, or OpenShift Administration are highly desirable, with willingness to pursue additional certifications.
- Consultative customer engagement experience with a major consulting services organization or software-company services division is preferred.
- Familiarity with Red Hat Satellite is a plus.
