Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-native engineering workflows and platform capabilities.
- Analyze software development workflows and identify opportunities for agents, automation, and shared capabilities to improve outcomes.
- Prototype and build production-grade agent-driven workflows, services, and tools across the software lifecycle.
- Write design documents, define interfaces, and create maintainable implementation patterns.
- Evaluate AI development tools, models, and platforms for reliability, security, quality, cost, performance, and human oversight.
- Lead scoped experiments from hypothesis through validation, measurement, and scaling or redirection.
- Contribute common foundations and platform capabilities and bring services and tools into reliable production use.
- Own testing, observability, security, reliability, performance, cost, incident response, and continuous improvement for delivered capabilities.
- Collaborate across teams, resolve dependencies, communicate technical decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to design and code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of engineering experience, or a master’s degree and 2+ years of engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing and delivering production software, developer tools, services, or platform components in a collaborative engineering team.
- Experience using generative AI models, coding agents, or engineering platforms to build software.
- Experience improving developer workflows, engineering systems, operating practices, or developer experience using feedback or measurements.
- Working knowledge of areas including cloud platforms, distributed systems, developer tooling, identity and security, observability, CI/CD, testing infrastructure, or safe deployment.
- Preferred experience includes building or operating developer products, AI-enabled engineering workflows, internal developer platforms, developer tooling, or cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to handle moderately ambiguous problems, make implementation tradeoffs, take features from design through production, communicate clearly, collaborate across teams, and learn from feedback.
