Responsibilities
- Assess, recommend, and adopt relevant technologies, tools, and engineering processes.
- Implement and maintain design, development, release, and software quality practices.
- Use AI-powered coding tools and advocate effective AI development practices.
- Collaborate with partner teams to solve complex problems and deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences.
- Use telemetry and analytics to understand customer impact and provide feedback on Azure and Power Platform services.
- Leverage engineering principles while contributing to a customer-focused, continuously improving team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least 2 years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred candidates may have a master's degree with 3+ years of experience, a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience delivering large-scale, production-quality software systems and applying system design, algorithms, testing, debugging, and code review practices.
- Ability to lead technical direction and mentor engineers in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with AI-powered developer tools, agentic AI patterns, large language models, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, or orchestration tools.
- Experience with developer tooling, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, large-scale engineering infrastructure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, scalable data platforms, semantic layers, enterprise data sources, or cloud-based data architectures.
