Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, troubleshoot, and test or QA software.
- Build enhancements within existing software architectures and suggest architectural improvements.
- Apply knowledge of software architecture to develop software applications or operating systems from design specifications.
- Troubleshoot software and perform performance tuning.
- Potentially lead projects or supervise lower-level personnel.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field and 3 years of experience in the offered job or a related software developer occupation.
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.
- Four years of software engineering or related experience.
- Object-oriented programming experience with Java and C++.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems, networking protocols, network architectures, internet standards, databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies.
- Independent judgment and competence in the relevant area of expertise.
