Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and test software applications or operating systems.
- Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest architectural improvements.
- Apply software architecture knowledge to develop, debug, and design software according to specifications.
- Troubleshoot software and perform performance tuning.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Three years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
- Object-oriented programming experience with Java and C++.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP and HTTP and standard network architectures.
- Knowledge of Internet protocols and standards including SMTP, REST, SSL, and HTTP.
- Knowledge of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies.
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
