Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance internal technology solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Design, develop, configure, and support Salesforce products and custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Maintain development and test instances, internal sandboxes, user access, sharing models, custom objects and fields, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts.
- Design and maintain REST, SOAP, event-driven, middleware, and multi-system integrations.
- Handle bulk data migration, large data volume strategies, troubleshooting, monitoring, deployment, and operational support.
- Implement enterprise monitoring and alerting using PagerDuty, Datadog, and Event Monitoring.
- Maintain system documentation, Salesforce policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with business owners, technical teams, and interconnected IT groups to resolve issues and optimize end-to-end processes.
- Maintain compliance with security policies, SOX procedures, and change-management controls.
- Lead knowledge-sharing sessions, transfer knowledge, and mentor junior staff and new hires.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects through resolution while maintaining customer satisfaction and delivering reliable code.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of Salesforce application development and support experience in an enterprise environment with at least 300 seats.
- At least 2 years of hands-on programming experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- At least 2 years of experience building modern user interfaces with Lightning Web Components, Aura Framework, AngularJS, or React.
- Experience customizing Salesforce with Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce, and asynchronous Apex processing.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce SOQL, SOSL, Governor Limits, and query optimization.
- Experience with RESTful, SOAP, and event-driven architectures, including Pub/Sub API, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, MuleSoft, and Kafka.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, profiles, permission sets, field-level security, and sharing architecture.
- Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Chatter, and Force.com applications.
- Knowledge of relational database management systems, data modeling, custom objects, and large data volume strategies.
- Proficiency with Claude Code CLI, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Active Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, or Application Architect are desired.
- Agile/Scrum, SDLC, environment governance, analytical process definition, technical specifications, and architectural pattern experience are desired.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development, automated test coverage, CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce CLI, Copado, Gearset, and Git is desired.
- Experience with Claude Code CLI configuration, sub-agents, MCP integrations, and Cursor workspace rules is desired.
- Knowledge of SaaS architecture, multitenancy, and cloud enterprise software solutioning is desired.
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership, manage competing priorities, learn new technologies, and collaborate effectively.
