Base Salary
$200k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build the EKS cluster module and establish reusable infrastructure patterns for other engineering teams.
- Own cluster management and the development, staging, and production environments end to end.
- Drive safe, staged infrastructure migrations.
- Lead consolidation of infrastructure observability onto Datadog and define observability standards.
- Build and maintain AWS networking, IAM, and core services as infrastructure-as-code while keeping the environment secure and cost-aware.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering with ownership of production systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably EKS, and Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Strong AWS fundamentals, including networking, IAM, and core platform services.
- Experience with Datadog or a comparable observability stack.
- Ability to execute autonomously and favor simple, durable systems over gold-plating.
- Experience in a regulated or healthcare environment involving HIPAA or PHI is preferred.
