Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly goals while leading engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, analytics, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology, and business issues.
- Support artifact operations and availability through metrics, escalation, and on-call efforts.
- Set and improve code review and design standards and promote engineering quality through writing and tech talks.
- Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience leading significant mobile initiatives using React Native or native mobile technologies, including architecture, cross-functional launches, and production reliability.
- Experience working across React Native and native Swift/Kotlin boundaries, debugging platform-specific issues, and improving developer tooling and release processes.
- Experience implementing experimentation, feature flagging, and analytics instrumentation in mobile applications.
- Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching scalable backend systems using technologies such as Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to define technical plans, design extensible systems, write high-quality code, and safely make significant changes in large codebases.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ownership of professional growth.
