Responsibilities
- Deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for the algorithmic trading platform.
- Participate in technical analysis, design, data analysis and mapping, development, and testing across the full project life cycle.
- Provide occasional level 2 and level 3 support for front-office applications.
- Follow functional architecture strategy and company development standards.
- Coordinate with business and development teams on priorities and project progress.
- Help manage implementation of new systems or system upgrades when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of experience designing and developing algorithmic trading systems for equity markets.
- Hands-on experience with Java and execution systems such as execution algorithms and SOR.
- Experience with market data feeds, OMS, and FIX protocol.
- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and enterprise messaging solutions.
- Experience with control and governance frameworks such as trade surveillance, audit trails, and risk checks.
- Familiarity with networks, TCP/IP, and low-latency optimization techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD automation and message-oriented architecture.
- Understanding and ideally hands-on experience with event-driven systems and financial markets, including local market characteristics.
- Ability to work professionally and collaboratively across departments, countries, and regions, with strong self-direction, prioritization, and execution skills.
