Responsibilities
- Develop software projects on a monthly release cycle with minimal supervision.
- Design large-scale enterprise solutions and application integrations for on-premises applications and cloud-enabled platforms.
- Own software delivery from development through production rollout using Waterfall, Agile, and test-driven development approaches.
- Perform database development, debugging, troubleshooting, data analysis, field mapping, and business-solution design.
- Provide release-weekend support, production support, issue triage, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Coordinate with teams and stakeholders across multiple locations and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of IT development experience in database programming with MS SQL and Sybase ASE.
- Financial services background with understanding of post-trade processing and trade lifecycles for fixed income, equity, foreign exchange, derivatives, and repurchase agreement trades.
- Experience with database performance tuning and advanced optimization techniques.
- Experience testing software for elaborate business scenarios and supporting production issues.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and project methodologies.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and adaptability skills.
- Jira and Agile boards experience is a plus.
- Experience with Classic ASP, XSLT, and JavaScript is desired.
