Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of AI feature development from research and prototyping through production and continuous improvement.
- Design, develop, and operationalize AI applications and pipelines using text, vision, and structured data.
- Build iterative prototypes, demonstrate them to stakeholders, gather feedback, and translate solutions into measurable business value.
- Engineer reliable backend and frontend services and integrate solutions with enterprise services for cybersecurity and legal compliance.
- Implement experiment tracking, model versioning, and CI/CD pipelines for stable releases.
- Collaborate with product teams, research teams, and domain experts to identify use cases, quantify ROI, and communicate results.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in an object-oriented programming language and advanced Python for applied AI applications, data pipelines, and backend services.
- Experience with frameworks and tools such as PyTorch, FastAPI, LangChain, and LangGraph.
- Experience using enterprise and open-source frontier models including GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or Mistral for agents or knowledge-extraction workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, and GPU-accelerated environments.
- Practical understanding of a relational database such as PostgreSQL, vector databases, and efficient data preprocessing pipelines.
- A proven record of taking prototypes to production and maintaining long-term system observability.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with 6–9 years of experience building LLM-centric agents, enterprise copilots, or RAG-based applications.
- Familiarity with LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, emerging AI frameworks, LLM evaluation and value-benchmarking frameworks, computer vision, and natural language processing.
- Preferred experience in aerospace, autonomous systems, or engineering analytics, plus a portfolio of deployed AI projects or open-source contributions.
