Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend services using Core Java and maintain legacy Java components.
- Develop responsive Angular single-page applications and reusable user interface components.
- Implement GraphQL schemas and resolvers for flexible data access.
- Integrate services with relational and document databases.
- Create automated unit and integration tests for critical application flows.
- Profile services, tune queries, and improve application performance and resource utilization.
- Apply secure coding practices and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, DevOps, and infrastructure teams in a hybrid work setup.
- Document system designs, APIs, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in production incident analysis, root-cause investigations, and preventive improvements.
Requirements
- Six to ten years of experience building enterprise applications with Core Java, Java 21, and Java 8.
- Strong understanding of Java collections, concurrency, and error handling.
- Strong proficiency in Angular development, including component-based architecture, state management, and reusable UI design.
- Hands-on experience designing GraphQL schemas, implementing resolvers, and integrating backend services.
- Understanding of RESTful service patterns, message formats, and distributed-system integration approaches.
- Practical experience with unit testing frameworks and mocking tools for Java and Angular.
- Familiarity with version control workflows and branching strategies using tools such as Git.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and cross-functional teams.
