Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain DRW’s globally deployed low-latency trading platform.
- Work across order routing, market data, and risk systems.
- Develop and troubleshoot high-availability, multithreaded C++ systems with tight resource and latency constraints.
- Perform performance tuning across applications, Linux, and socket I/O.
- Collaborate with research teams and quants when applicable.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience developing high-availability systems in C++ under tight resource and latency constraints.
- Background in multithreaded programming and a strong understanding of hardware/software interaction.
- Strong performance-tuning and troubleshooting skills, including applications, Linux, and socket I/O.
- Experience with C++ libraries such as STL and Boost.
- Up-to-date knowledge of C++ standards, including C++23.
- Experience with challenging systems projects such as custom compilers, matching engines, or real-time large-scale data processing.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience in trading or another ultra-low-latency business, collaboration with research teams and quants, or work in gaming or streaming is preferred.
