Responsibilities
- Participate in delivering high-quality releases of Survey123 and related field apps.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product engineers to define and validate product functionality.
- Test software and mobile applications to ensure they meet development goals and user needs.
- Translate field requirements into effective product behavior and user experience.
- Identify functionality gaps and provide input for product improvements.
- Advocate for product quality and usability across mobile, web, and desktop platforms.
- Contribute to documentation of features and user guidance.
- Support holistic testing activities and incorporate learnings into the development cycle.
- Collaborate on test plans and contribute to automation to improve product quality.
Requirements
- 2+ years of GIS experience in a scientific or engineering environment.
- Ability to understand and analyze user workflows and apply GIS concepts.
- Experience with field data collection solutions, including paper and digital tools.
- Understanding of field data collection workflows, including GNSS usage.
- Familiarity with the ArcGIS ecosystem and related products.
- Knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Windows) and their capabilities.
- Ability to work closely with a team in a constantly evolving environment.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, GIS, or related field.
- Existing work authorization for Australia.
