Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and technical direction for complex Adobe Experience Manager websites, content management, and digital experience solutions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into architecture designs covering interfaces, data flows, deployment, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Guide full-lifecycle delivery through discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, readiness reviews, and architecture governance.
- Evaluate technology options, infrastructure, technical debt, build-versus-buy decisions, and architectural tradeoffs.
- Diagnose client environments and recommend architecture, performance, and implementation improvements.
- Provide technical direction to engineering teams on scalable patterns, integrations, troubleshooting, and web performance.
- Support presales discovery, technical scoping, feasibility analysis, estimates, and risk and dependency identification.
- Mentor Lead Engineers and Engineers and develop reusable architecture patterns, accelerators, standards, and lessons learned.
- Communicate architecture decisions and recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant software engineering, solution architecture, web content management, or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience owning architecture and key technical decisions for complex client engagements, products, or digital solution domains.
- Experience translating functional and nonfunctional requirements into solution designs, implementation plans, estimates, and architecture decisions.
- Demonstrated expertise designing and leading Adobe Experience Manager solutions and enterprise integrations.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design and Java-based application architecture, including web application performance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Knowledge of RESTful services, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, HTTP, web servers, and content delivery networks.
- Experience with design reviews, technical risk and dependency management, complex implementation guidance, and engineering mentorship.
- Strong client consulting, stakeholder facilitation, communication, and technical presentation skills.
- Experience with Agile delivery approaches including Scrum and technical scoping and estimation.
- Ability to travel up to 40% as required by client assignments.
- Preferred: experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR, Dispatcher, caching or CDN configurations, UNIX/Linux, Apache web servers, TCP/IP networking, debugging tools, and advanced XML integration patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
