Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Java-based applications, services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable code and participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Integrate applications with frontend applications, third-party systems, and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Debug application defects, troubleshoot complex systems, resolve production issues, and improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and use Git for source code management.
- Support AWS deployments and work with containerization, orchestration, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and logging tools.
Requirements
- B.E. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2.5 years of experience building software products or applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and AWS.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Kafka, NoSQL databases, Netflix Conductor, and productivity tools.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
- Familiarity with Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or ECS.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools including CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Grafana, and ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of cloud and application security best practices, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
