Responsibilities
- Define and maintain SLOs, error budgets, reliability targets, and production risk controls.
- Oversee service delivery from code integration through production deployment across staging, UAT, and production environments.
- Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, version control policies, zero-downtime deployment strategies, and low-impact change processes.
- Develop rollback, failover, and disaster recovery runbooks and respond to production incidents.
- Improve automation, standardization, monitoring, observability, and SRE maturity across engineering teams.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, QA, engineering, operations, and product stakeholders on reliability, regulatory, and change-management requirements.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and provide reliability metrics, incident trends, and production health reporting to senior management.
- Maintain audit-ready records and support internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering within financial services or fintech.
- Hands-on experience maintaining reliability for real-time transaction systems, mobile banking, or payment gateways.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, and observability or monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and their operational implications for production systems.
- Strong cross-functional communication, attention to detail, risk awareness, and incident-response judgment.
