Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and continuously improve the infrastructure and services underpinning the engineering platform.
- Own core development tools and infrastructure, including compute, container platforms, application hosting, and quality assurance systems.
- Provide technical guidance and help engineering teams adopt consistent engineering and operational practices.
- Use cloud platforms, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and automation to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient services.
- Investigate complex technical issues, improve observability, reduce operational risk, and minimize manual effort.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and performance issues and provide technical documentation and operational guidance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members and engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar platform or infrastructure engineering role.
- Experience with Linux, application administration, and server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and containers.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management.
- Programming or scripting experience with technologies such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and SRE practices.
- Experience designing secure, resilient, and scalable systems.
- Experience supporting business-critical platforms and troubleshooting infrastructure, networking, and performance issues.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and software delivery lifecycles.
- Strong problem-solving ability, engineering judgment, communication, stakeholder engagement, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Technical leadership and mentoring experience are desired.
