Responsibilities
- Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs.
- Identify application enhancements, analyze issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
- Use business processes, system processes, and industry standards to resolve complex issues.
- Write basic code based on design specifications and conduct testing and debugging.
- Use script tools and evaluate options when circumstances are not covered by existing procedures.
- Develop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems, procedures, standards, and client-server application development.
- Assess risk, follow applicable laws and policies, and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with programming and debugging used in business applications.
- Working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
