Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, customer support, and partners to support high-quality product delivery.
- Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing of backend systems, APIs, databases, and distributed services.
- Identify, analyze, track, document, and report defects, including root-cause analysis of failures.
- Conduct feature, performance, security, scalability, and big-data QA testing.
- Set up automation frameworks, develop data-comparison scripts, improve release processes, and increase test coverage.
- Advocate QA best practices and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Minimum seven years of QA engineering experience with strong backend testing and automation expertise.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing across the full testing lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript and experience with Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, microservices, CI/CD, and SDLC.
- Familiarity with QA efficiency tools, AI/LLM, performance testing, and security testing.
- Experience with StarRocks, Kafka, and big-data QA environments is preferred.
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, plus fluency in English.
