Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Calypso changes and releases.
- Validate end-to-end trade lifecycle flows including capture, clearing, settlement, and reporting.
- Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and regression packs based on business requirements.
- Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation across trade and downstream systems.
- Support SIT, UAT, release validation, defect triage, and defect closure.
- Collaborate with development and business analysis teams to investigate and resolve defects.
- Support production releases and post-deployment validation.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives and CI/CD integration.
- Document test results, defect logs, and test evidence for governance.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of experience in functional testing of the Calypso platform.
- Understanding of capital markets, including FX, fixed income, derivatives, and trade lifecycle processes.
- Experience with automation tools including CATT, Selenium, Playwright, and API testing.
- Experience with SQL and data validation.
- Exposure to test management tools such as JIRA and Xray or similar.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Calypso workflows, APIs, and interfaces such as MarkitWire and downstream systems is preferred.
- Experience with FIX messages is preferred.
- Understanding of performance/NFT testing and capacity validation is preferred.
- Knowledge of ITIL incident, problem, and change management processes is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams is preferred.
- Candidates must be legally authorised to work in Australia permanently without restrictions.
