Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal reporting solutions for operational and business decision-making.
- Build and improve reusable engineering frameworks, templates and accelerators.
- Produce technical documentation, standards and engineering guidance.
- Support internal tooling that improves delivery consistency and engineering quality.
- Participate in code reviews, technical knowledge sharing, mentoring and formal training.
- Shadow customer workshops and consulting engagements before gradually contributing to customer delivery projects.
Requirements
- A degree or expected degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or another relevant STEM subject.
- Approximately 6–12 months of practical industry experience through a placement year, internship, graduate programme or similar commercial experience.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and attention-to-detail skills.
- Willingness to learn, work independently and collaborate with others.
- Desirable qualifications include exposure to Azure, AWS or Databricks; experience with Git or other version control systems; and understanding of relational databases, data modelling and ETL/ELT concepts.
- Relevant experience from university projects, hackathons or personal development is desirable.
