
Machine Learning Platform Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Build and scale secure AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure, including IAM, data management, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Develop ML platform services such as model registries, project-permission services, SageMaker setup, deployment tooling, APIs, internal UIs, and self-service tools.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Docker, ArgoCD, package building, security scanning, and autonomous agent capabilities.
- Develop and publish reusable AI tools, autonomous agents, MCP server integrations, internal developer tools, and AI marketplace capabilities.
- Maintain platform architecture, documentation, monitoring, incident-response automation, observability, and security controls.
- Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver reliable platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Software Engineer, or ML Infrastructure Engineer.
- Daily hands-on use of AI pair-programming tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent.
- Experience building internal tool or skills marketplaces, reusable integrations, MCP servers, or AI building blocks.
- Experience designing and deploying autonomous agents for engineering, infrastructure, onboarding, CI, or documentation workflows.
- Strong Python software engineering skills and expertise with AWS, including IAM, EKS, S3, SageMaker, and Lambda.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, MLOps, model and agent evaluation, monitoring, and alerting.
- Experience with MCP servers, multi-tenant onboarding, internal developer tools, security reviews, and IAM systems such as Okta.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce, agent memory patterns, vector or graph databases, RAG pipelines, Snowflake, Kafka, Flink, Feast, A/B testing, experimentation platforms, and Airflow.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
