Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across GenAI platform initiatives by setting standards and driving architectural decisions.
- Build, deploy, and operate production AI platform systems in AWS.
- Drive service delivery and evolve integrations with managed AI platforms.
- Contribute to HelloFresh's golden path for AI engineering.
- Develop platform capabilities around governance, telemetry, and security controls.
- Surface architectural patterns from delivery work to generalize them into shared platform capabilities.
- Ensure system reliability through cost and latency optimization.
- Offer technical guidance and knowledge sharing to grow engineering capabilities.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience building production GenAI systems and platform capabilities.
- Strong engineering fundamentals with a proven track record of designing reliable systems.
- Extensive experience building and operating distributed systems within AWS ecosystems.
- Practical experience with managed AI services such as AWS Bedrock.
- Demonstrated expertise in building shared platform capabilities.
- Strong technical understanding of observability, security, governance, and scalability.
- A proven history of translating complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and shaping technical execution.
- A collaborative mindset with strong opinions, knowing when to push back and when to align.
