Base Salary
$86k - $123k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, implement, upgrade, and maintain microservices, tools, applications, and existing code for the ARIA LLM model.
- Write advanced programming code and conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards and best practices.
- Perform feasibility studies, propose software enhancements, and manage project timelines and tasks.
- Debug and troubleshoot microservices and AWS-based systems, supervise deployment of team-built components, and respond to maintenance tickets.
- Collaborate with development managers and the AI Research team to integrate research findings and methodologies.
- Create technical and process documentation and share development insights across the team.
- Participate in daily Scrum meetings and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience with Python, object-oriented programming, unit testing, and pytest.
- Knowledge of Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, or similar infrastructure-as-code languages.
- Experience debugging microservices in AWS infrastructure, including CloudWatch and roles.
- Familiarity with LLM architecture and best practices.
- Strong Linux knowledge and experience automating tasks.
- Experience with microservices, AWS managed services, Git, and software development best practices.
- Strong written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with FastAPI and machine learning research or development.
