Responsibilities
- Define and drive the architecture of the end-to-end developer experience.
- Optimize developer tooling to enhance engineering productivity.
- Own and evolve the developer portal for service discovery and workflow orchestration.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Architect the developer platform for both human developers and AI agents.
- Use telemetry to identify opportunities for improvement in developer experience.
- Partner with stakeholders to advance shift-left methodologies.
- Lead through influence across multiple teams to drive platform standards.
Requirements
- Deep software engineering background in platforms or developer tooling.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Backstage, and CI/CD platforms.
- Strong understanding of developer workflows across the SDLC.
- Ability to design systems spanning multiple tools and teams.
- Track record of improving developer productivity at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of technical standards.
- Experience building or scaling internal developer platforms.
- Familiarity with artifact and dependency management.
- Experience using data to improve engineering workflows.
- Strong experience in programming languages like Go, Java, and Kotlin.
