$95k - $99k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software builds, testing, and deployments.
- Manage and optimize infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Provision and manage environments using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Automate deployments, configuration management, operational processes, and system maintenance.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, security, and observability.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, outages, and performance issues.
- Implement logging, alerting, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA, security, and operations teams to improve reliability and deployment processes.
- Manage containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
- Evaluate and adopt tools and practices that improve reliability and engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, or systems administration.
- Strong experience with Linux or Unix-based operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or a similar language.
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
- Knowledge of networking, security, DNS, load balancing, and system administration.
- Experience implementing monitoring and logging tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
