Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, implementation, and lifecycle management of scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Design cloud foundations optimized for large-scale AI and machine learning workloads, including compute, networking, storage, and security patterns.
- Apply AIOps, predictive monitoring, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted infrastructure management to cloud platform operations.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or OpenTofu for automated, repeatable, self-service provisioning.
- Establish cloud governance, security guardrails, compliance controls, and architectural standards across accounts and environments.
- Drive observability, monitoring, reliability, performance, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Partner with development, DevOps, SRE, security, and AI/ML teams to enable self-service capabilities.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, workload onboarding, optimization, and platform rationalization programs.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging cloud and AI technologies and mentor engineers as a senior technical thought leader.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering; 7+ years preferred.
- University degree preferred.
- Experience designing and operating multi-account AWS environments using AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, and Account Factory for Terraform.
- Experience with cloud security, IAM, zero-trust principles, and compliance frameworks relevant to regulated industries.
- Experience with Python and infrastructure as code using Terraform, OpenTofu, or CloudFormation.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AI Specialty certification preferred.
- Hands-on experience with AIOps platforms, AI-assisted infrastructure tooling, or intelligent observability solutions preferred.
- Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization tooling preferred.
- Experience leading large-scale cloud migration or modernization programs in regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare preferred.
