Responsibilities
- Guide clients through software implementation from requirements gathering and detailed design through build, testing, deployment, go-live, and user adoption.
- Conduct workshops and translate client business requirements into functional specifications and software solutions.
- Lead functional workstreams and coordinate business stakeholders, technical teams, clients, and project management.
- Guide and perform system configuration, data setup, testing, training, troubleshooting, and change-management activities.
- Communicate project progress, risks, changes, timelines, and deliverables to project managers and clients.
- Create client-ready requirements, process analysis, functional design, test plan, user enablement, and project communication materials.
- Support internal business-line and practice-development initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of functional consulting experience implementing software solutions for supply chain planning, execution, and logistics.
- Experience with industry-specific software such as Transportation Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning systems, supply chain strategic network design tools, or similar solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, analytical, and adaptability skills.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies and supporting organizational and process change.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: functional knowledge of network design, transportation logistics, inventory control, demand and supply planning, or distribution networks.
- Preferred: experience with data governance, business intelligence and reporting tools, system integration, data mapping, ETL/MCP tools, AI, or predictive analytics.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, with additional travel based on business and client requirements.
