Responsibilities
- Engage customers to understand AI/ML, generative AI, analytics, and data lake requirements.
- Design AI-ready architectures using NetApp storage, cloud services, GPU infrastructure, and hybrid or multicloud platforms.
- Advise customers on AI data pipelines, model training environments, data governance, and storage performance optimization.
- Lead customer workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations, proofs of concept, benchmarks, and technology demonstrations.
- Develop high-level designs, low-level designs, bills of materials, sizing, technical proposals, and RFI/RFP responses.
- Support sales and partner teams with opportunity qualification, account strategy, enablement, competitive positioning, and AI use cases.
- Collaborate with hyperscalers, OEMs, and technology partners and provide market intelligence and customer feedback.
- Evangelize NetApp AI solutions through customer events, webinars, and executive briefings.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure presales.
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, data analytics, cloud, or high-performance computing solutions.
- Expertise in AI infrastructure, GPU-based architectures, cloud platforms, storage technologies, and enterprise data management.
- Experience with generative AI, LLM ecosystems, RAG frameworks, vector databases, AI/ML lifecycle management, MLOps, and DataOps.
- Experience with NetApp ONTAP, AFF, StorageGRID, enterprise storage, HPC, data lakes, data warehouses, backup, and cyber resilience.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure AI, AWS AI/ML Services, Google Cloud AI Platform, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience with NVIDIA DGX, GPU clusters, high-speed networking, AI data pipelines, and distributed storage architectures.
- Preferred certifications include NetApp Certified Hybrid Cloud Architect, NVIDIA AI Infrastructure Certifications, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, and Kubernetes CKA/CKAD.
- Experience supporting large enterprise and strategic accounts and driving multimillion-dollar infrastructure and AI transformation deals.
- Strong executive customer engagement, consultative selling, solution architecture, AI business value articulation, presentation, storytelling, competitive analysis, cross-functional leadership, and strategic account management skills.
