Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python code for Generative AI applications.
- Integrate Generative AI APIs such as OpenAI and Gemini to build application features and products.
- Implement and optimize Retrieval Augmented Generation systems.
- Develop and deploy backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Conduct application feasibility, planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, engineers, users, and technology teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow software development best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security while recommending post-implementation security measures.
- Monitor development processes, establish operating standards, assess risks, and support compliance requirements.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and serve as a subject-matter expert to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI concepts and technologies.
- Experience using Generative AI APIs such as OpenAI and Gemini.
- Practical experience implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation systems.
- Expertise in at least one of FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Understanding of software development best practices, Git, testing, and CI/CD.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, independent-working, and teamwork skills.
