Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable and reliable services for network configuration lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with peers, customers, and partner engineering teams to develop innovative network service solutions.
- Apply algorithms, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and service-oriented architecture concepts to large-scale software services.
- Build and contribute to the technical roadmap for the team’s software services.
- Develop systems supporting automated network capacity reservation and AWS Software Defined Networking.
Requirements
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- Preferred: experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
