Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, debug, test, and refine scalable cloud-native applications.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes operators, controllers, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems tooling.
- Use Go, Python, Protobuf, gRPC, and Kubernetes to develop platform capabilities.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes applications with Helm.
- Support secure, governed environments through container hardening, image governance, and network policies.
- Own architectural decisions from research and design through delivery while collaborating with and mentoring team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience, or solid projects for a fast learner.
- Strong proficiency in Go and working knowledge of Python.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience, ideally with operators or controllers, controller-runtime, Kubebuilder, and CRDs.
- Proficiency with Protobuf, gRPC, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Comfort with container hardening, image governance, and network policies.
- Preferred experience with Helm and GitOps-style deployment.
- Preferred familiarity with code-server, openvscode-server, Code-OSS, or self-hosted browser IDEs.
- Preferred exposure to regulated or air-gapped environments, FIPS, FedRAMP, Chainguard, or distroless images.
