Responsibilities
- Design and architect customized cloud solutions aligned with customer objectives, scalability, security, performance, and delivery needs.
- Gather customer technical requirements, industry regulations, and operational constraints and translate them into solution designs and execution plans.
- Act as the technical liaison between customers and backend engineering teams, monitoring milestones, mitigating risks, and supporting on-time delivery.
- Support pre-sales through technical presentations, solution demonstrations, architecture workshops, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Represent Tencent Cloud at industry forums, technical workshops, and ecosystem events in Singapore.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in public cloud pre-sales solution architecture, preferably in internet or financial services sectors.
- Strong expertise in cloud computing and virtualization technologies, particularly KVM, Xen, or LxC.
- Solid understanding of system architecture fundamentals and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent written and spoken English and proficiency in Chinese Mandarin.
- Proactive, responsible, execution-driven, collaborative, and able to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
