Responsibilities
- Convert prototyped computer vision algorithms into high-quality, product-ready code.
- Design strategies to optimize computer vision algorithms for embedded systems and mobile devices.
- Design or review software modules and systems supporting new technology or improving existing functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with embedded systems, backend server, and computer vision engineers to improve and optimize algorithms.
- Participate in code reviews, create automated software tests, troubleshoot software issues, and document software architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, preferably specializing in computer vision and machine learning.
- Preferred work experience of 2–5 years.
- Basic understanding of computer vision, including at least two areas such as object detection, tracking and recognition, multiple-view geometry, OCR detection, camera calibration, 3D data processing, SfM/SLAM, or activity recognition.
- Experience optimizing software on embedded GPU and DSP platforms, including Nvidia and ARM.
- Knowledge of parallelized and vectorized computation.
- Strong C and C++11-or-later programming skills.
- GPU programming experience using CUDA or OpenCL is optional.
