Responsibilities
- Build and contribute to First American’s AI platform.
- Apply AI to real-world use cases such as document parsing, recommendation engines, and image classification.
- Develop model deployment, experimentation, and evaluation pipelines.
- Present AI findings and use cases to leadership and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with analytics and big data teams on AI solutions.
- Design maintainable, observable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems and integration patterns.
- Use cloud platform and software delivery automation technologies to build and operate solutions.
Requirements
- In-depth experience with at least one major cloud provider, including AWS, GCP, or Azure; AWS is preferred.
- Experience applying AI in real-world applications such as document parsing, recommendation engines, or image classification.
- Experience with AI toolsets such as SageMaker, Vertex, Foundry, or DataBricks.
- Experience developing model deployment, experimentation, and evaluation pipelines.
- Experience presenting AI findings and use cases to leadership and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience with agentic AI tooling such as LanGraph, Bedrock Agents, Swarm, or CrewAI.
- Preferred experience with analytics and big data teams and tools such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Preferred experience fine-tuning LLMs, developing RAG systems, and using prompt chaining.
- Preferred experience building human-in-the-loop machine learning systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, software delivery automation, distributed systems, integration patterns, and systems design.
- Ability to learn independently, decompose problems, communicate effectively, collaborate, and incorporate feedback.
