Responsibilities
- Design, build, and modernize large-scale web applications and digital platforms.
- Develop scalable frontend and backend solutions and integrate APIs, services, distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven systems.
- Deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS and own systems through architecture, deployment, monitoring, reliability, performance optimization, and security.
- Implement observability, monitoring, tracing, incident troubleshooting, and production operations practices.
- Use AI-assisted development and agentic AI workflows for requirements analysis, design reviews, coding, testing, documentation, code reviews, and operational insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, contribute to architecture discussions, mentor peers, and improve engineering standards and delivery practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building and operating scalable, highly available software systems in production.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, design patterns, clean code, and modern full-stack development.
- Expert proficiency with Python, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js, including high-performance web applications using server-side rendering and component-based architectures.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience designing APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with observability and production operations tools such as Datadog and New Relic, including logging, monitoring, tracing, and incident troubleshooting.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, API, and end-to-end testing, including Playwright.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Vercel AI SDK, LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI SDKs, Anthropic SDKs, MCP, or agent-based development frameworks.
