Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on design and development of payment API services.
- Build secure, scalable, resilient, event-driven solutions using AWS serverless services.
- Design and review error handling, retry, idempotency, timeout, monitoring, logging, and operational-readiness strategies.
- Develop cloud-native services using Node.js and serverless patterns where appropriate.
- Partner with product, business analysis, quality engineering, architecture, and support teams.
- Support adoption of generative AI for engineering productivity, documentation, design support, and test acceleration.
- Translate user requirements into technical specifications, write code, and manage design specifications, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on enterprise software engineering experience with senior- or lead-level development responsibility.
- Strong experience building API services, microservices, and event-driven cloud services.
- Strong experience with Amazon Web Services, especially Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, CloudWatch, and SNS/SQS.
- Strong experience with Node.js for service development is preferred.
- Understanding of resilience engineering, including retries, idempotency, timeout handling, observability, and recovery design.
- Understanding of secure software design, including authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, and data protection.
- Experience in payments, wire processing, or financial services platforms is preferred.
- Experience with AI-assisted software delivery is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and programming languages.
