Base Salary
$160k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and development of Jerry.ai’s AI agents and automation system.
- Shape the conversational front end, including chatbots, voicebots, and computer-use agents.
- Build backend workflow automations for document validation, record disputes, and transactions with external insurance carrier systems.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies such as voicebots and computer-use agents, determine investment priorities, and ship solutions to production.
- Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
- Address production concerns including evaluations, regressions, latency, cost, and failure handling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in an early-stage startup with end-to-end ownership.
- Experience putting LLM-based systems into production.
- Ability to independently define specifications, build systems, and evaluate competing architectures.
- Ability to assess newly released AI models and explain architectural tradeoffs.
- Experience addressing evaluations, regressions, latency, cost, and failure handling in production AI systems.
