Base Salary
$118k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and day-to-day engineering execution while contributing hands-on to software development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Design and develop scalable enterprise applications, APIs, services, distributed systems, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Translate product requirements and architectural direction into technical designs, implementation plans, and production-ready software.
- Develop AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, enterprise data, and external tools.
- Build reusable software components, services, integration patterns, and frameworks that improve engineering efficiency and solution scalability.
- Apply automated testing, continuous integration and delivery, observability, performance, reliability, and maintainability practices.
- Implement secure integration patterns, access controls, error handling, monitoring, and operational safeguards across software and AI solutions.
- Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, conduct code and design reviews, and promote engineering standards.
- Develop reusable AI capabilities for orchestration, model integration, tool integration, state management, evaluation, and observability.
- Partner with Architecture, Security, and engineering teams to advance software and AI engineering standards, reference architectures, and responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on software engineering experience designing scalable enterprise applications, APIs, services, distributed systems, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Experience developing applications and agentic workflows using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, enterprise data, and external tools.
- Experience with software testing, deployment, production support, observability, performance, reliability, maintainability, and secure integration practices.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and conduct code and design reviews.
- Preferred experience developing reusable AI capabilities for orchestration, model integration, tool integration, state management, evaluation, and observability.
- Ability to collaborate with Architecture, Security, and engineering teams on standards, reference architectures, and responsible AI practices.
