Base Salary
$160k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical and workflow blockers during complex enterprise deployments and high-stakes launches.
- Partner with Sales and Deployment Strategy on late-stage deals, providing technical feasibility judgment and credibility with senior municipal stakeholders.
- Translate bespoke customer requirements into scalable abstractions and productizable solutions.
- Build targeted code or configuration when necessary while avoiding product fragmentation and technical debt.
- Travel to complex or high-value municipalities to understand constraints and accelerate execution.
- Escalate durable product opportunities to core teams and help shape roadmap decisions.
- Ensure enterprise work aligns with long-term platform strategy and protects product coherence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack or forward deployed engineer in a production SaaS environment.
- Experience with customer-facing deployments, integrations, or migration-heavy environments.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to decide when to build, abstract, configure, or push back.
- Strong coding ability in TypeScript/Node.js or a similar technology.
- Effective communication skills and executive-facing credibility.
- Ability to operate under ambiguity and own high-impact, revenue-sensitive problems.
- Ability to identify recurring enterprise patterns and convert them into reusable systems.
- Startup-oriented approach with the ability to move quickly without over-engineering.
