Responsibilities
- Design and ship production AI systems, including integrations, data flows, reliability, observability, and on-call readiness.
- Lead discovery and scoping from pre-sales through post-production, translating customer problems into requirements and delivery plans.
- Define launch criteria, controls, audit artifacts, evaluation benchmarks, and acceptance thresholds for regulated financial environments.
- Build systems incorporating access controls, data lineage, explainability, and failure-mode considerations.
- Run workflow-specific evaluation loops measuring accuracy, latency, coverage, false positives, and related quality metrics.
- Own delivery across multiple workstreams and balance scope, speed, and quality to protect production outcomes.
- Create reusable primitives, reference architectures, playbooks, and tooling for financial institution deployments.
- Provide field feedback to inform model behavior, product capabilities, and platform improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering, ML engineering, or technical deployment experience with customer-facing ownership in financial services or adjacent regulated industries.
- Experience owning complex AI or data-driven systems end-to-end from scoping through production adoption.
- Knowledge of financial workflows such as research, trading, risk, compliance, underwriting, operations, or investment processes.
- Ability to write and review production-grade backend and frontend code using Python, JavaScript, or comparable stacks.
- Experience deploying systems powered by LLMs or generative models, including understanding of model behavior, evaluation, and guardrails.
- Ability to communicate technical trade-offs across engineering, product, risk, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
- Systems-thinking approach with strong execution in urgent, ambiguous, and high-stakes delivery environments.
