Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-team delivery as the technical primary for complex cloud platform features.
- Design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Build and enhance CI/CD platforms, deployment pipelines, and self-service developer capabilities.
- Support the production SaaS ecosystem with attention to operability, security, performance, scalability, and availability.
- Develop automation, monitoring, self-healing, dashboards, reports, and metrics for platform health, cloud usage, and costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform and infrastructure defects in production environments.
- Apply IAM, role-based access control, network security, vulnerability management, environment isolation, and compliance best practices.
- Drive reliability and cost-optimization initiatives and contribute to incident response, runbooks, escalations, and post-mortems.
- Mentor engineers, define technical direction, break down epics into stories, and share technical knowledge across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent related discipline.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure automation, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience with public cloud platforms including GCP, Azure, or AWS, with GCP preferred.
- Strong experience designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, Ansible, and automation tooling.
- Experience developing automation and platform tooling with Go, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, security, governance, system design, and operational reliability trade-offs.
- Experience troubleshooting complex production platform and infrastructure issues.
- Experience mentoring or leading platform and infrastructure engineers and driving delivery across teams.
- Experience with GKE or AKS operations, Terraform modules and state management, CI/CD automation, image building, GitOps, artifact management, and Windows Server automation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server administration is an asset.
- GCP Landing Zone, Azure enterprise-scale architecture, NetApp CVS, Capsule multi-tenancy, Trivy, SBOM, cosign, Aptly, and shared services administration are nice-to-have qualifications.
- Kinaxis product knowledge, RapidResponse or supply chain platform exposure, and Windows Server enterprise experience are considered assets.
