Responsibilities
- Build and maintain messaging integrations, APIs, tools, and platform capabilities for engineering teams.
- Develop, deploy, and support high-quality production software in Go and C#.
- Contribute to system designs, standards, processes, product features, and engineering practices.
- Work with engineering teams across multiple countries to solve messaging-related problems.
- Own workstreams, communicate progress, and participate in workshops with product development teams.
- Support production components through an on-call rota and verify that changes continue to operate effectively.
Requirements
- Solid coding fundamentals, particularly in Go and C#.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi, AWS CDK, and Terraform.
- Experience with AWS and exposure to streaming, messaging, or event-driven architecture.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate on complex problems, and communicate effectively.
- Experience working in an Agile environment such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Messaging technology experience with Kafka or SNS/SQS is advantageous.
- Experience with APIs, OpenSpec, or AsyncAPI is advantageous.
- Experience with serverless computing, cloud architecture, microservices, event-driven architecture, or Kubernetes is advantageous.
