Responsibilities
- Own the security roadmap and execute a strategic security engineering plan.
- Champion defense-in-depth tactics including threat modeling and secure design reviews.
- Lead security incident response and recovery efforts.
- Build or integrate security tooling into the developer workflow.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to embed secure practices.
- Help hire, coach, and mentor a security engineering team.
- Establish security standards and frameworks that evolve as the company scales.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in security engineering or incident response.
- Extensive experience with security across software and infrastructure.
- Ability to translate risk into actionable items and communicate effectively.
- Experience in pressure situations with clarity and calm.
- Developer-centric approach with fluency in dev-tools.
