Responsibilities
- Automate testing of cloud infrastructure, software applications, and systems.
- Provide quality assurance and testing services to SREs, Developer Productivity teams, Cloud Operations, and other cross-functional groups.
- Build tools that reduce manual testing effort and improve test automation processes.
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, test scripts, end-to-end tests, and system tests.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve software defects.
- Maintain test configurations and lab environments and provide on-call support for the SaaS platform.
- Identify process improvements and stay current with testing technologies and techniques.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience as a quality engineer or software engineer.
- At least five years of experience working with cloud providers such as AWS or GCP.
- At least two years of experience in a SaaS-based environment.
- At least five years of experience with test automation development for integrated tests.
- At least three years of experience developing and executing end-to-end or system test plans.
- At least two years of experience setting up and maintaining test configurations and lab environments.
- Experience with one or more of Go, Python, Ruby, or shell scripting; Splunk, Grafana, or Kibana; Kubernetes; Terraform; Linux; SQL; or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with on-call support and exposure to performance testing.
- Understanding of scalable design principles and strong research, analytical, communication, and technical skills.
- Experience with Agentic AI is a plus.
- A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Cloud technology, software development, or programming-language certifications and specialized SDLC training are desirable.
