Responsibilities
- Build and ship features end-to-end from database schemas and backend services through the user-facing web client.
- Design domain modules using established architectural patterns and conventions.
- Maintain multi-tenant correctness through compliant migrations, Row-Level Security, tenant-aware transaction contexts, and persist/flush discipline.
- Integrate shared services for background jobs, real-time updates, file storage, email, document intelligence, authentication, and authorization.
- Use Claude Code and similar AI tools to accelerate development while reviewing, adapting, or rejecting generated work appropriately.
- Improve quality through code reviews, type safety, performance discipline, testing, and trunk-based development.
- Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, QA, UX, and domain experts to translate requirements into software.
- Contribute improvements to shared libraries, metadata systems, and developer tooling.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience building production web applications.
- Strong TypeScript experience across frontend and backend development.
- Solid React experience, including hooks, component composition, performance, and state management.
- Server-side experience with Node.js; NestJS is preferred, while Express, Fastify, or comparable frameworks are accepted.
- Relational database fluency, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, migrations, and ORM experience.
- Experience with multi-tenant or SaaS systems and tenant-isolation approaches such as Row-Level Security or scoped queries.
- Experience with Git, pull requests, CI/CD, code review, testing, and trunk-based or short-lived-branch workflows.
- Demonstrated productivity with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
- Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to explain trade-offs, challenge constructively, and document decisions.
- ERP or business-application knowledge, process-manufacturing experience, or familiarity with formulation, lot tracking, or compliance requirements is preferred.
- Hands-on AWS experience with ECS, RDS, S3, CDK, or Bedrock is preferred.
- Experience with document intelligence, RAG, LLM integration, internationalization, or accessibility is preferred.
